this is a copy of Pat Buchanan's speech from a few days ago, it was given in response to obama's speech on race. From Buchanan's March 21 column:Barack says we need to have a conversation about race in America.Fair enough. But this time, it has to be a two-way conversation.
White America needs to be heard from, not just lectured to.This time, the Silent Majority needs to have its convictions, grievances and demands heard. And among them are these:
First, America has been the best country on earth for black folks. It was here that 600,000 black people, brought from Africa in slave ships, grew into a community of 40 million, were introduced to Christian salvation, and reached the greatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks have ever known.Wright ought to go down on his knees and thank God he is an American.Second, no people anywhere has done more to lift up blacks than white Americans.
Untold trillions have been spent since the '60s on welfare, food stamps, rent supplements, Section 8 housing, Pell grants, student loans, legal services, Medicaid, Earned Income Tax Credits and poverty programs designed to bring the African-American community into the mainstream.Governments, businesses and colleges have engaged in discrimination against white folks - with affirmative action, contract set-asides and quotas -- to advance black applicants over white applicants.Churches, foundations, civic groups, schools and individuals all over America have donated time and money to support soup kitchens, adult education, day care, retirement and nursing homes for blacks.
We hear the grievances. Where is the gratitude?personally, i don't know where to begin since there are so many inaccuracies .. but i waiting for mainstream media to pick up on this like they did rev wright.

This man is out of his dam mind!
He should be run out of town on a rail... Where can I find the entire speech?
And no place on earth have Blacks done so much to lift up white people as in the Land of the White Free. We (Blacks) worked for free for many generations to advance you into a superior economic powerhouse while blacks were systematically denied basic human privileges.
So what if you spent trillions on government programs. Do you believe you have compensated blacks for all the atrocities you heaped upon a race of people? You can never make up for the degradation, humiliation, and lost sense of pride and heritage which was destroyed when we were ripped from Africa and brought here against our will. The ill-effects are stronger than ever even in today's black society. Not only that, every ethnic group has enjoyed the benefits of these so-called “programs” that you so proudly proclaim to have introduced for blacks. I don’t exactly remember any other race being systematically denied privileges as we were. Does anyone else?
The saddest thing is so many Republicans feel this way but won't say it out loud like this man. Did he ever think about what we could have acheived if we where able to come here like our European & Asian counterparts? The audacity he has to say we should be happy for slavery!!!
But this is what Obama is up against and Hillary not interested in healing a nation - just getting back into the White House. It's all very sad.
Are Buchanan's speeches posted anywhere? If these are the words he spoke, has anyone sent this informaiton to the news media?
No. The news media has not or at least they want acknowledge they have a copy of the speech. They are too busy bashing Obama and constantly running the Rev. Wright speech. There will always be a race issue, because of times like this the new media will concentrate on what they want. And, yes, if it means keeping their knees in the chest of a black person to keep them down, they will. Some one please send Pat Buchanan's Speech AGAIN to CNN, MSNBC and Fox News, and what ever news station there may be.
Pat Buchanan is the only man left in this nation wiyh any common sense. If blacks do not think they owe any gratitude to American whites just look at your African counterparts. Yet, even there they are waiting for a white man to feed them.
Indeed, Pat Buchanan's living proof of that even the biggest idiots are still existent -- and with big idiots can flourish big racists!!
